This app is designed to measure the average speed of an arrow during its flight. It functions by detecting two distinct audio events: the sound of the arrow being released from the bow and the sound of the arrow striking a target or backstop.
The app calculates the time interval between these two detected sounds. To determine the arrow's speed, the user is required to provide two distance measurements: the distance from the device running the app to the archer, and the distance from the archer to the target.
