About this game

Augmented Reality (AR) learning resource for Grade 1 Science: Sounds Around Us. Learn about sound sources, loudness/softness, and sound direction through 3D scenes with real sounds.

How to use: Open the app and point your camera at the lesson's marker card. A 3D scene will appear with accompanying sounds for you to listen to.

Lesson Activities:
• 360-degree rotating concert stage: Learn about different sound sources.
• Compare natural sounds with man-made sounds (guitar, speaking, cricket).
• Experiment with loudness/softness based on distance (near/far) from the sound source.
• 3D ear model: Learn how we hear sounds and how dangerous excessive noise can be.
• Experiment with sound direction: Listen and identify the source.
• Guess natural sounds: cricket, frog, bird, rain.
• Sound detective game in a big city: Listen to sounds and find the correct source.

Children will learn to identify sound sources, loudness/softness, and how to care for their ears.
