About this app

Arc Field is the mobile companion to Arcify, the business management software for UK trades and field-service companies at www.arcify.co.uk. It is not a standalone app: a business subscribes to Arcify on the web, and the owner creates logins there for their engineers, drivers and office staff. Those people sign in to Arc Field with that login, and the app puts their working day on the phone already in their pocket: what they are doing today, and the job itself while they are standing in front of it.

Every job, customer, price and certificate comes from the same Arcify account the office works in, so nothing is typed twice and nothing has to be remembered until the evening.

TODAY, BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE YARD
• What needs attention first, then today's work, then everything still open
• Bookings, repair cases and deliveries in one list, not three
• Your own work or the whole team's, on a switch
• The van you signed out at the top of the screen, with its walk-round

THE JOB, DONE ON SITE
• Move a job to its next status, confirmed before it commits
• Materials taken straight off the van's stock
• Photos of what you found and what you left
• Notes typed or dictated, and marked as the customer's or as internal
• Certificates started and finished on site
• The address handed to the phone's own maps app, with the drive time

MONEY, WITHOUT THE PAPERWORK
• Card payments taken on the phone with Tap to Pay, through the business's own Stripe account (supported Android phones)
• Cash recorded as the fact it is, so the books balance
• An invoice raised from the job when the customer is on terms
• A receipt emailed or shared before you walk back to the van

THE VAN AND THE STOCK
• What is on the van, what is below minimum, and the buy list
• Load from the store, count what is really there, and correct it with a reason
• The daily walk-round in ninety seconds, with a photo on anything wrong

THE OFFICE, FROM THE PASSENGER SEAT
• Quotes written, sent and converted into work
• Invoices chased and payments recorded
• Approvals: timesheets, expenses, leave and goals

YOUR OWN WEEK
• Timesheets filled in as the week happens, then submitted
• Expenses with the receipt photographed once
• Leave requested and its answer seen
• Your shifts subscribed to the calendar app you already use

WHEN THE SIGNAL GOES
The last jobs Arc Field synced stay readable with no signal at all, and notes, check-ins, walk-rounds and cash tenders queue on the phone and send themselves when the signal comes back. Everything that needs the server says so in a sentence rather than failing quietly.

BUILT FOR THE WORK
Dark mode, large text and screen readers throughout. What each person sees is what their role and their business's setup allow, so an engineer's Arc Field is not a manager's.

Arc Field only works with an Arcify account. There is no sign-up and nothing to buy in the app: the business buys its Arcify subscription on the web at www.arcify.co.uk. Card payments go straight from the business's customer to the business through Stripe; Arcify takes no part of them.
