About this app

TaxiGo Driver is the app for taxi drivers working with TaxiGo in Riobamba, Ecuador. It allows you to receive requests from nearby passengers and manage them from your phone.

IMPORTANT: The app is only for authorized drivers. After logging in with Google and registering your information, a TaxiGo administrator will review your account. You will not be able to receive requests until it is approved.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Log on and off whenever you want with a single toggle.

• Receive requests from nearby passengers with voice, vibration, and notification alerts, even with the app running in the background.

• See a reference to the area of ​​the request and, upon accepting it, the exact address of the pickup point.

• Open the route in your map app.

• Chat with the passenger during the trip.

• Maintain your profile: photo, phone number, and vehicle information.

• Use the app in Spanish or English, with a light or dark theme.

YOUR LOCATION AND PRIVACY
While you're online, the app uses your precise location, even when running in the background, to assign you nearby ride requests and, during a trip, to show your position to the passenger. You'll see a persistent notification while this is happening. Your last known location is deleted when you log off. TaxiGo does not save trip history.

You can delete your account and data at any time from Settings.

AVAILABILITY
For now, TaxiGo only operates in Riobamba, Ecuador.
