About this app

M3 is designed to help communities, policymakers, and relief organizations respond more effectively to climate-driven disasters and migration challenges. It combines real-time remote sensing data with community reporting and field data to provide early detection of climate events (such as floods, storms, droughts, etc.), enabling timely responses.

Through its platform, M3 aims to:

Deliver real-time tracking and predictions of climate-related disasters.

Give vulnerable communities a voice via verified community reports, helping relief agencies understand urgent needs on the ground.

Provide data-driven insights and policy guidance, assisting governments and organizations in crafting smarter, resilience-focused strategies.

The site invites a broad range of participants — from local communities and relief groups to researchers, think-tanks, and policymakers — to “get involved,” contribute data, and download the M3 app. In doing so, it hopes to build a more informed, resilient global response system for climate migration and disaster management.
