About this app

MiDosis helps you remember every dose of your medication, with reminders that ring reliably and ask nothing in return.

UNLIMITED MEDICATIONS, FREE
Add as many medications as you need. No cap, no expiring trial and no subscription for the essentials.

WORKS WITHOUT INTERNET
The app has no network permission: your data cannot leave this phone. It is stored encrypted on the device and never sent to a server. No account, no email required.

REMINDERS YOU CAN VERIFY
• Full-screen alarm, also on the lock screen.
• You choose how insistent it is: a single alert, three reminders, or until you confirm.
• Taken, Snooze and Skip buttons right on the notification.
• A reliability screen that checks permissions and battery-saving settings and guides you to fix them.
• Alarm test: fire a real reminder and see for yourself before you rely on it.

SCHEDULES THE WAY THEY WERE PRESCRIBED
• Every day at set times.
• Only on certain days of the week.
• Every X hours, counted from the set time or from the actual intake.
• Every X days.
• Cycles with a break (for example 21 days on and 7 off).
• A specific day of each month.
• As needed, with no alarm and manual logging only.

STOCK CONTROL
Record how many units you have left and get a heads-up when they are running low, in time to go to the pharmacy.

HISTORY FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
A log of taken, skipped and missed doses, with your follow-through percentage per period. Export the history to CSV to take to your doctor or open in a spreadsheet.

Create profiles to also manage the medication of a family member in your care.

BACKUPS IN YOUR HANDS
Export and import a full backup whenever you want. Since we use no cloud, this backup is what lets you switch phones without losing your history.

What’s new

Better first-time experience on Android 14+:
• New setup step: since Android 14 the system blocks full-screen alarms by default. MiDosis now explains it and takes you to the exact setting, so the alarm fills the screen instead of arriving as a small notification.
• The reliability screen now flags this as critical, with a one-tap fix.
• The "doses not logged" summary is clearer and no longer warns about old, stale doses.
