CodeGlass scans QR codes and common barcodes, shows link destinations before opening them, and keeps an encrypted history on your device.
SCAN WITH CAMERA OR GALLERY
Scan from the live camera or a saved photo. Use pause, torch, zoom and haptic controls, then review distinct codes when an image contains more than one.
SEE THE DESTINATION FIRST
CodeGlass never auto-opens a scanned URL. It shows the full destination so you decide whether to copy, share, open or run an optional safety check. A destination preview is information, not a guarantee that a website is safe.
USEFUL ACTIONS AFTER A SCAN
Handle Wi-Fi, email, phone, SMS, map, contact and calendar payloads. Product barcodes offer explicit lookup destinations instead of silently sending the code to a background service.
ENCRYPTED LOCAL HISTORY
Keep scan history encrypted on your phone. Pin useful codes, add searchable notes, review duplicate and last-scan details, copy rows or export supported history as CSV.
CREATE AND SHARE CODES
Create QR codes for URLs, Wi-Fi, contacts, email, phone, SMS, locations and text. Android can also save or share supported QR, EAN-13, UPC-A and Code 128 outputs.
PRIVACY AND NETWORK BOUNDARY
Camera decoding and history storage happen on your device. Optional product and safety destinations use external services. Analytics does not contain raw scanned payloads. Google Mobile Ads may process device, app-interaction and diagnostic data for ad delivery, measurement, security and fraud prevention.
FREE AND AD-SUPPORTED
Core scanning is free and ad-supported. Premium and verified prior purchasers are ad-free. Free users may also choose one sponsored video for a temporary ad-free day.
