Forge the dice. Roll the hardware. Compile the buffer.
Terminal Dice is a turn-based roguelike deckbuilder where your deck is a bag of physical dice, and every face can be changed.
There is no story campaign or filler between runs. You build your dice, fight through encounters, collect relics, and push your setup as far as it can go.
Roll your hand
Each turn rolls a fresh set of dice.
Study the board, then spend your limited OPS to FLIP or SHIFT individual dice towards the values you need. Larger dice have more scoring potential, but they are harder and more expensive to control.
You cannot fix everything. Decide which dice are worth spending resources on and which rolls you have to work around.
Build the buffer
Move dice into an ordered compile buffer before committing your score.
Dice that form your chosen combination receive the main multiplier. Everything else still contributes its value as raw payload.
Special faces such as Copy, Boost, Edge and Retrigger depend on where they appear in the buffer. The same dice can produce very different results depending on the order you place them.
A live forecast shows the expected result before you compile.
Forge your own dice
After encounters, permanently modify individual faces on your dice.
Replace weak values, add +2 to a face, duplicate something useful, or engrave special effects such as Wild, Gold, Copy and Boost.
A normal d6 might eventually become:
[1, 1, 4, 6, GOLD, WILD]
You are not just collecting stronger dice. You are changing their probability, one face at a time.
Deal with hostile firmware
Fight through three escalating sectors, each ending with a boss that changes the rules of the run.
Bosses can reverse your buffer, punish duplicate values, hide rolled results, interfere with relics, or force you to change how your build works.
Boss rules are shown clearly before you commit, so success comes from adapting your build rather than guessing what happens next.
Complete the main campaign to unlock Endless Mode, where boss protocols begin stacking together as you push for a higher score.
A separate seeded Daily Challenge gives every player the same starting conditions and encounter sequence.
