About this game
ArkneyOrbit is a free-to-play 3D space combat game that recreates the feel of late 2000s space MMOs with today's infrastructure. The dashboard looks old, but everything running underneath is new.
THREE COMPANIES, ONE CHOICE
Upon first login, you're assigned to one of three: TMC, HEL, and SYN. Your main map, base, and two enemies are ready to go. Miner, merchant, or science guild: your choice determines the character of your fleet.
COMBATING IN SPACE
A laser barrage per second, missile cooldowns, mines, and shield math. Your shield takes the bulk of the damage while stationary. Every decision, from movement to firing, is calculated on the server, meaning there are no speed cheats, teleportation, or infinite ammo.
HANGAR AND SHOP
Seven ship classes, from Sparrow to Behemoth. Laser, generator, shield, ammo, drone, and repair boat. Upgrade with your own credits, and return to space from the same dashboard.
16 MAPS
You have base protection on your main map, but not outside. On X maps, the best resources come with the highest risk. Gather resources, mine ore, earn your own credits and Zenite.
CLANS AND HONOR LIST
Create a clan, collect applications, carry your tag in space. Pilots and clans are live-ranked on the honor list. Twenty military ranks will follow you to the top.
FAIR PLAY
Premium currency Zenite can also be earned in-game. VIP sells cosmetics and conveniences, not raw damage. No ads, no tracking, no third-party analytics.
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
The game is entirely online. An internet connection and a free account are required to play. Registration does not require an email address.
The game is in open alpha. Content and balance may change, and progress may be reset during testing periods with prior notice.
Text-based chat with other players is available in the game.
