It worked for a few hours and then it asked me for permissions again even though they are already on. When I turn the permissions in the setting off and back on nothing changes and it doesn't block anything, just keeps asking for permissions.

Awesome, this app blocks all short content videos on both app and web based junk (YouTube, Facebook...) Pay for premium, it's totally worth it and save your brain from rotting.

I went ahead and bought the 1 time cost for premium. Completely removed shorts on YouTube. I couldn't be happier.
