Instant, secure logins to EAMS-A using your personal mobile device.

Protect your Army EAMS-A account by adding second factor authentication with Army MobileConnect. After logging in to EAMS-A as you normally would, MobileConnect will send a notification to your device, asking you to approve the login, or will generate a one-time passcode to use instead.

MobileConnect will now allow users to login without a username and password once registered. This simplifies desktop and mobile access to hundreds of Army sites backed by EAMS-A.

You may still use MobileConnect as a second factor for username and password logins if needed. You may use automatic push notifications or TOTP for validating your second factor with MobileConnect.

Note: This app requires a US Army EAMS-A account and registration for the MobileConnect service. Simple instructions are provided in the app.

every time I attempt to use the app, either the app will crash and minimize itself immediately, or the camera won't turn on for 20 seconds and then crash itself. I fixed it once by uninstalling, disconnecting my phone from the app through the browser, then reinstalling everything. Even when doing that, it took 3 more cycles of crashing before it decided to open the camera so I can scan. This app would be phenomenal for the Avd, if the app decided to work at all. New code needed tbh

No sign of a recent update, but app has become totally useless in the last week or two. Constantly crashes when I go to scan the QR code on my PC. Just keeps crashing, even after restarting, etc...only thing that works is uninstalling and reinstalling, but then you need to get re-admitted to the system and re-register your phone, etc. It's done it to me 3 times in a week now.... incredibly frustrating

Did a simple test run on logging in via ACT and works flawlessly. Obviously with limited access using a login rather a CAC is annoying, but I can see this being used more often for NG/Reserve Units over Active Duty if they don't their cards with them(not sure why they wouldn't.) But it begs to question on "Why" it exist when the CAC is basically a second form, if not, a main reliable source of identification for your person. Its somewhat pointless in a sense. But hey, you do you buttercups.
