sold my house and moved into another house that already had arris set up. attempted to connect my old system to the new system as a satellite and it's been nothing but a nightmare. the worst part is the fact that the app automatically forces you to set something up and does not automatically allow you to log into an account. absolutely the most frustrating set up I've ever experienced

At first the setup was not that hard and I wondered why it had a low rating. I closed the app and then later returned to see that it wanted me to do the initial start up again. Tried using the password it originally provided during the first GUI sign in and it didn't recognize it and it asked to try again. I tried again and again until I realized I wasted an hour on setup and trying to log back in.

garbage, The router itself works fine — solid WiFi 6 signal and good range. But you cannot set it up without the ARRIS SURFboard Central app, and the app is completely broken. Constant firmware download failures, device pairing errors, and it resets the entire setup process every time something goes wrong. Spent hours going through the same error loops with no way around it since there's no web interface to fall back on. Avoid unless ARRIS fixes the app.
