About this game

Untangle is a calm arrow logic puzzle, a brain teaser about order and foresight. Each level is a knot of colored arrows. Tap an arrow with a clear path and it slithers off the board. Clear them all in the right order and the board lights up as a pixel-art shape.

There are no timers and no pressure. You decide when to move, and every board is checked by an automated solver to confirm it can be solved.

How it works
• Tap an arrow whose path to the edge is open and it slides away
• Tap a blocked arrow and it bumps into the one in its way, turns red and costs one of your three hearts
• Free the blocking arrow and the red arrow launches by itself, so careful planning is rewarded
• Press and hold an arrow to see a guide line showing where it would travel
• Pinch to zoom and drag with two fingers to inspect dense boards
• Run out of hearts and the level restarts straight away, with no menus to go through

• Many levels built from shapes such as a cat, a sword, a butterfly, a rocket or a castle
• Arrows in many forms: straight lines, L, Z and U bends, stairs, snakes and spirals
• Five difficulty tiers: Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert and Nightmare, with gentler levels mixed in along the way
• A wave of light across the finished board and a word of praise based on how you played

Made to feel good in your hands
Buttons press down like real keys. Arrows slide, bump and recoil with matching sound and vibration, so every move feels physical. Sound effects and vibration can each be switched off in Settings, and you can choose light or dark mode.
