🚀 WHY DOGEAR IS THE ULTIMATE BOOK TRACKER WIDGET

Traditional book tracking apps are often too complex, leading to "executive function" burnout. DogEar is built for simplicity—bringing your reading journey directly to your home screen.

✨ KEY FEATURES FOR FOCUSED READERS:
• 📌 Book Quotes Widget: Keep your favorite insights right on your home screen. It's the perfect visual reminder for your "Quote of the Day."

🧠 DESIGNED FOR ADHD & NEURODIVERSE READERS

If you have ADHD, you know that "out of sight is out of mind." DogEar uses Android widgets to keep your reading progress and favorite insights "In Sight."

• Reduce Digital Overwhelm: We stripped away the social feeds and gamification found in apps like Goodreads and Bookly.
• Visual Memory Support: Use the reading journey widget to passively reinforce what you've learned. It's an external brain for your library.
• Manage Your Backlog: Organize that "To-Be-Read" pile without the stress.

🎯 THE MINIMALIST READWISE ALTERNATIVE

If you love the idea of Readwise but find the interface too busy, DogEar is your focused choice.

Why you'll love this ADHD reading app:
1. Zero Friction: Fast, intentional logging for your book notes.
2. Visual Memory: Your book quotes widget stays prominent on your screen.
3. Passive Spaced Repetition: The algorithm smartly resurfaces old quotes so you never forget what you've learned.

Ratings and reviews

interesting idea. missing request a book missing compare, there's 6 versions of the Republic by plato. which one? I only tried free version but the main book I wanted to try was missing no suggestions maybe have a list of categories at startup then offer one free recommended book that actually showcases the app in that category then 3 free is fine. but as it sits, I've searched 5 books and none were available so I just moved on. edit also. book covers need visible mark if available

Great idea. I would have paid but I thought the cost was 3x what it should be. So I stayed with the free plan. Then an update shrunk the text and placed that setting behind a pay wall. Changing the font size on my phone didn't affect it. Disappointed.

Where do I even begin? I have always kept my distance from books whilst trying to get knowledge out of it. And this apps allows me to do just that. - The widget on the home screen clearly takes the place. - I can go through a world of Books - No Unnecessary Popups - Minimal and Functional Look After some usage, i might just turn to books and then keep them here as a reminder of what i have read for a revision.
