Good but short for the money. Double tapping required at times. No ability to go back and get the collectibles you missed. Nice variety of unique hidden object scenes. Overall great game but this long time customer of Artifex Mundi will be hesitant paying their increased prices in the future. I realize they need to raise prices a bit but their 40% price increase is too steep. Better off doing small increases more frequently instead of going from $4.99 to 6.99. There's too many other good games for way less $$.
I'd give 10 stars for controls if I could 😚. Love to tap and place rather than drag and drop. Great game so far. Good story, clear graphics and those giggly fire imps are terrific. Map works well and so far so does the storyline. Another hit!
One of the best point & click games from AM. This one had all the features the others have (collectibles, achievements, hints, skip button for puzzles) plus a bonus chapter. Loved the story and the puzzles were the right level of difficulty, not too easy but all manageable. If I'm being picky, there is just one critisism: less HOG's would be perfect, I don't really care for them. But at least they were varied and there were some where you have to interact with several items to get the final item. These I liked.
I thought it was great until I got stuck in/near the treehouse with no where to go and HELP just shows me a blizzard scene. Very frustrating. You need to FIX THIS. Map shows things to do in an area I can't get to. Really?!? Update Restarted the game and cautiously played...I saw where I could take a secret opening and get locked into the 2nd treehouse without all necessary items. I loved the game! Just beware...
I loved the game which is a good thing with the price hike! I won't be buying them if they continue the outrageous prices. For they didn't create this game, Sunward Games did! They just formatted for Android. I truly appreciate but don't believe there's justification for the increase. That being said...There were morphing objects and collectibles hidden throughout, teleporting map, bonus play, ZOOM-IN that stays after clicking objects and customizable difficulty settings. No strategy guide. Beautiful graphics with interesting storyline. So I gave it 5 ☆'s! 😎😎😎😎😎🐲🐲🐲🐲🐲💙💜💛💚💖!!!!! ($ = 😠😠😠😠😠)
I do like the Frozen North and wolves. The game was a reasonable length and kept my interest well. All the usual ingredients, and I enjoyed collecting the little Scandi elves. Puzzles were a little samey, I dislike rotating triangles and there were a lot of them. I rated it 4 because, although I enjoyed it, I felt it was a bit rushed at the end - the achievements section was skimpy and wrong. But, it's a game, and developers are under a lot of pressure to rush them out. I liked it a lot.
