Who was related to whom – and how? Dynastia shows the great families of Europe and beyond for what they really are: one single, sprawling web of marriages, children and lines of succession.

More than 2,400 people from 36 houses across 24 countries – Windsor, Habsburg and Romanov, Bourbon, Hohenzollern and Wittelsbach, alongside noble families such as Spencer, Kinsky and Polignac. Reigning families, vanished thrones and aristocracy without a crown, all in the same family tree.

A TREE YOU EXPLORE
The tree explorer is not a fixed diagram but a map you move through. Four views:
• Family – two generations up and down
• Ancestors – six generations back
• Descendants – six generations forward
• Network – three generations both ways, marriages included
Tap the plus on any node and its direct relatives are pulled in. Panning and zooming stay smooth, even for the largest houses.

WORK OUT ANY RELATIONSHIP
Pick any two people and see the shortest path between them – step by step, with every person in between and the exact relationship at each link. How is the British heir connected to the King of Denmark? Two taps and you know.

PROFILES WITH SUBSTANCE
Every person carries their dates, titles, parents, marriages and children. Siblings, grandparents and grandchildren are derived from the family graph rather than stored twice and left to drift. Where a freely licensed portrait exists, it is included – with creator and licence shown right below the image.

SOURCED, NOT GUESSED
Relationships are never estimated or filled in. If a connection is missing, it simply is not documented. Every record points to its source list, and the whole dataset is checked automatically before each release: unique identifiers, resolvable parent and spouse references, plausible age gaps, no birth recorded after a parent's death.

OFFLINE, NO ACCOUNT NEEDED
The complete dataset ships inside the app. No loading spinner, no connection required – on a train, on a plane, anywhere. You only need an account if you want your favourites synced across devices, and you can sign in with Apple or Google.
