Unfortunately I cannot recommend this product. I just took the Commercial Airplane written test and most of the questions I was asked weren't in this app. Of the ones that were at least similar, most had been rewritten so that the answers were different. Even the diagrams in the test supplement were different, and those are public information. I recommend going elsewhere for your test prep. Shepard worked great for my Instrument written. I wish I hadn't cheaped out on this one.

Right before I took the actual Commercial Airplane test I took a practice test on this app and scored 97. I scored 92 on the actual test. About 1/3 of the actual test questions were not similar to the app questions. I studied the AIM, FAA weather handbook and CFR's separately as well as using the app. By itself, the app might barely help you pass the test. Risky unless you also study the AIM, weather and CFR's on your own. Overall I liked the app and it tied everything together for me.

This database is somewhat outdated, some of the questions have been modified on the actual exam. Good for rote memorization, I went through every section on study mode once and got an 85 the same day. Terrible for actually understanding the concepts, the reasons the app gives for the answers are the same as the answer itself sometimes.
