About this app

VoltDash puts your entire off-grid electrical system on one screen.

It reads the Bluetooth broadcasts your chargers and monitors already send out, and turns them into a single live dashboard — battery state of charge, solar input, DC-DC charging, and what your loads are drawing, all at a glance. No hub, no gateway, no internet connection, no account.

WORKS WITH YOUR EXISTING GEAR

VoltDash reads Instant Readout broadcasts from Victron Energy equipment, including:

- SmartShunt battery monitors (500A, 1000A, 2000A)
- BMV-712 and BMV-71x series battery monitors
- SmartSolar MPPT solar charge controllers
- BlueSolar MPPT controllers with a VE.Direct Bluetooth dongle
- Orion-Tr Smart and Orion XS DC-DC chargers
- Phoenix inverters with VE.Direct Instant Readout
- Blue Smart and Phoenix Smart IP43 AC chargers

Several devices at once, on one screen, with no limit on how many you add.

ONE DASHBOARD, NOT SEVEN

Instead of tapping through a separate connection for every device, VoltDash shows the whole system as a live energy flow: total power coming in from solar and DC-DC, your battery in the middle with its true state of charge, and total power going out to loads. You can see at a glance whether you are gaining or losing charge.

ON YOUR HOME SCREEN

- Four home-screen widget styles — a circular gauge, a compact nano widget, a slim bar, and a full system widget
- A persistent notification showing live battery status, readable from the lock screen without unlocking your phone
- Background monitoring that keeps the widgets and notification current

COMPLETELY OFFLINE

VoltDash never connects to your equipment and never uploads your data. It listens passively to the encrypted broadcasts your devices already transmit, decrypts them on your phone using the keys you provide, and keeps everything local. Your readings are yours. There is no account to create, no cloud service, no subscription to monitor your own batteries, and no advertising.

WHAT YOU NEED

- Equipment that supports Victron's Instant Readout Bluetooth broadcasts
- The encryption key for each device, which you can copy from the VictronConnect app under Product info
- An Android phone with Bluetooth Low Energy

WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO

VoltDash is read-only. It shows you what your system is doing; it cannot change settings, start or stop charging, or configure your equipment. Use VictronConnect for that.
