This app would be great if only there were to be: An actual "zoomable" screen And a deselect option to deselect all. Still, its not too good itself. Perhaps it needs more updates.
The only thing that I could recommend to improve it would be to have a tool that let's you pull a point around. otherwise great app. Will rate 5 if this is added. Maybe also a tool that allows you to drag your finger across the screen to select multiple tiles at once. It's hard to add detail when it's so hard to select a large amount of faces at once.
The BEST of its kind in android, thank you for creating this app 😊, but I do seem to have a bit of a problem I have tried to import .STL format files and it doesn't seem to recognizable format from the gallery. I have downloaded the manual and read it and there isn't any detail on importing, is there a secret to it PLEASE? Update thank you for your response, I look forward to the update, this is the best that I have found on a mobile platform and I've looked hard, it reminds me a little of my favourite on PC which is wings 3d.👍
Outstanding app, the UI is very intuitive. Maybe I missed it but it would be great to have a sub-d toggle on and off and maybe a freeze mesh command to freeze the sub-d mesh. Although it looks like there's a lot of add-ons planned.
It force closed when you try to use some of the tools. Kinda frustrating. Other than that, it's great for beginner 3D renderers.
The controls are too finicky when selecting points or lines that curve inward, and the deselect all control gets in the way when selecting and working with large sections. Precise zooming is nearly impossible, you have to pinch or spread your fingers really fast to zoom at all and almost always scroll instead of zoom. No triangular faces can be made. Merging or Bridging lines will sometimes cause the program to freeze, and you can't Bridge or Merge points. The symmetry of the model is lost if you extrude too many times, and the Symmetry and Mirror option don't do anything noticable. It needs two more camera presets. Still, by far the easiest to use 3d modeling app for Android. Incorporate an autosave functions and I'll give it 4★ since I just lost 3 hours of work while adding the finishing touches with the bridge tool, and am pretty upset about it. Fix everything else for 5★. I also recommend the controls for the 2d perspective since rotation is locked to one finger to scroll, and two fingers to zoom. Also I'd like to see the ability to save and load various 3d camera perspectives. I recommend this program only for hobbyists with lots of patience in its current state. Edit: I'm glad to hear that, and look forward to it's competition.
