Diem is a search-engine-meets-social-network designed first for girls, women, and LGBTQIA+ folks. You can search the internet with Diem AI and find answers to anything life throws at you. “How do I get over a friend breakup? What’s the best way to negotiate salary? My boyfriend follows models on Instagram—is that a red flag?” Diem is here to help.

Our platform is also full of novel, collective knowledge from people all over the world. You can socialize your search to start conversations, discover a network of communities, connect over shared experiences and browse trending topics.

Joining Diem means showing up with no judgment and immersing yourself in the candid, funny, authentic, important, supportive, outrageous, honest, and wholesome questions of other Diemers, which span everything from birth control to friendship, sexuality to pop culture, parenting to relationships, money to reproductive health, career to books, and so much more. Diem feels more like searching for answers in the girls’ bathroom than spiraling alone on the internet.

Diem AI-powered search

Ask Diem AI, our AI-powered search tool, your questions! Our search engine is designed to be less bias than other models. You can think of Diem AI as your most knowledgeable Virgo “big sister” who lives in your back pocket. Diem AI draws from across the internet and the collective wisdom of Diemers to generate you a speedy answer. When you ask Diem AI you’ll receive a short summary answer, community sources (previous, related conversations in Diem), community spaces, web pages, Reddit threads and TikTok videos. You can dive in to these search results OR you can post your search to the community feed to get real-time feedback from people who’ve been there.

Diem AI Lenses

You can now ask questions of leading experts and your fave creators in Diem. Ask their Lens anything and your search result will feature their opinions & content from across the internet.

Discover thousands of authentic conversations

From awkward sex questions to wholesome big sisterly advice or navigating life’s highs and lows, Diem is full of the collective knowledge of girls, women, and LGBTQIA+ folks in over 100 countries.There’s no judgment here and you’ll feel that very quickly.

Post anonymously or under a pseudonym

We think of the anonymous feature as a confidence booster. Sometimes posting ‘taboo’ questions or personal stories publicly can be nerve-wracking, so this feature is designed to make you feel more comfortable while getting the advice you need.

Community Spaces

Community Spaces are micro communities that are also discoverable when related questions are searched via Diem AI. A few currently live: Am I wrong?, Big Sis Advice (BSA) and Is this Normal…? (ITN) We’re still early in building out Spaces and you can request additional Spaces or host your own.

Creating Posts

If you have a longer story, recommendation or advice to offer you can click the + button on your Discover feed and type out all your stories or wisdom. These posts will be discovered via the search engine and in Diemer’s discovery feeds.

Ratings and reviews

So excited to get into this app, but I think it's gaining *too* much traction cos it keeps crashing??? I've made an account but haven't seen the home screen yet - hopefully the devs can jump on top of this problem quickly, I'm excited to try it! EDIT: it's been a few days and I still can't get in. Not only that, but it's put me back at the sign-in page and says my email is both "not recognized" AND "already exists" and doesn't provide a solution or contact. Big problems. My hopes are dashed.

I really want to like this app, but it crashes more than it actually works. I have to try and open it 5 or 6 times before it'll actually stay open (it flashes open then crashes) and then crashes after being open for a few minutes anyways. I can't open the little treat store without it immediately crashing either. A great concept, but not a great execution.

I had high hopes for this, but I guess I missunderstood the purpose. There's no option for science, world news or politics etc when you choose your interests. I definitely do not want notifications like "Best cures for bloating", "Find the the best products for dull hair". Think about the most stereotypical old-fashioned view of a woman (worrying about looks, frizzy hair, "Does he like me?") -> this is the kind of content you see here. Women come in various forms. We are so much more.
