About this app

Sitara computes your Vedic birth chart with its own astrology engine, checked against NASA data, then translates what it finds into Western astrology. See what your birth chart, Moon Mansions and Life Seasons have in store for you. Converse with your birth chart, generate compatibility reports, view Tarot readings, and get daily personalized readings.

Vedic astrology has been around and heavily researched for over 5000 years, and is now available to you for free. Sitara shows similarities and comparisons between Vedic and Western astrology, and gives you more depth and insight into your life.

HOW IT WORKS

- You provide your birth date, time and place (private and secure)
- Sitara uses its in-house astrology engine (checked against NASA data) to compute your chart and date the seasons of your life
- Converse with your birth chart, get daily readings and generate compatibility reports

WHAT YOU GET

Your birth chart - The same details always give the same chart, down to the degree. Planets by sign, by house and by strength, with your rising sign and your Vedic Moon sign.

Your Moon Mansion - One of 27 mansions, mapped from real star data and explained in plain English.

Your life seasons - The planetary periods that divide your years into chapters, each one dated from the moment you were born and laid out across a 120-year timeline.

Daily personalized readings - A reading every morning. Read from your own chart and the season you are in.

Ask Sitara - Ask the question you actually have, in your own words, and get one considered answer, read from your chart.

Compatibility - Two charts scored across the 36 classical points.

Tarot - Read against the season you are in.

The Birth Record - Your whole chart, written out.

WHO IT IS FOR

The reader who grew up on newspaper horoscopes and wants something with more structure behind it. The reader who grew up with a family astrologer and wants that in the words they actually use. Same chart, same math, different starting vocabulary: you tell Sitara where you are with astrology when you begin, and it sets how much of the old language it leads with.

WHAT SITARA WILL NOT DO

- Sitara does not sell your data to advertisers
- Sitara does not provide predictions
- Sitara does not replace professionals in the fields of medicine, finance and law.
- Nothing is written to frighten you or to manufacture urgency.

Sitara is for reflection and entertainment. Sitara is for readers 16 and older.
