Smart PDF & Sheet Editor is an offline-first document workspace for Android. Read and edit PDFs, work with spreadsheets, scan paper documents, recognize text with OCR, sign, annotate, redact, convert and organize files without creating an account.

Privacy and control
Most document processing happens locally on your device. Your documents are not uploaded to a developer-operated server. Optional OCR language packs are downloaded only when you request them. Advertising requests follow Google consent requirements, and privacy choices remain available in Settings.

What’s new

The app is now a much smaller download: the office engine that opens Word, PowerPoint and OpenDocument files is fetched only when you first open one.

The home screen puts scanning, opening, merging and converting one tap away and lists recent documents. PDF tools now have icons and no longer run off the screen. Added a page thumbnail rail, a night reading mode and a tablet layout. Run one operation over several files at once, see every mark in one list, and lock the app with your screen lock.
