Its ok. I never experienced connection issues once my phone and grill were set to the same wifi ssid. That said, it isn't the fastest app, and finally you have access to all options- never saw chinese options or text, but it would be nice if updates were in bigger text while running it and if it were a smoother download. That said, I have had to replace the firebox temp sensor, but there's no way to calibrate it to current unlit temp, and it randomly chooses its own reference temp as its 'zero'.

Absolutely nothing is working, right!!! Help!!! I really hope I didn't make a bad choice. If Asmoke can't help me with getting the temperature under control and the app to work properly. I'm out 600 dollars. I went all out and bought their table, grill cover, carring bag, pellets, and extended warranty. I really hope they read this review and make things right.

App doesn't work. Waste of space. Asmoke Essential grill touch screen lags & all options don't work on the unit so I was hoping the app would help but it doesn't. App doesn't ever communicate properly with the grill to use any of the functions. If you're looking for a smart grill for the smart features, this isn't it. Grill requires tons of assembly with no real help. Cheap flimsy metal & cheap screws strip. More & more hassel. Opposite of intended purchase. Hoping future updates fix the basics.
