Have you ever stopped and wondered:
"When did I last change the furnace filter?"
"When was the last time I took my supplements?"
"How many days has it been since my last oil change?"
DaysSince is a simple answer to that question. Instead of typing a date into a list, you just take a photo. The moment you tap the shutter, DaysSince records the exact time and works out how many days - and hours - it has been since you last did it.
Set up an item once (give it a name, pick a category), and after that, every entry is just a photo. Tap an existing item, snap a picture, and you are done. No date pickers, no forms to fill in. Already have photos saved on your phone? You can bulk-import them from your gallery too.
Most habit trackers are built around streaks and daily check-ins. Miss a day and you get a broken streak or a guilt-trip notification. DaysSince does not work that way - there are no reminders and no streaks. It is just a quiet record of what you have actually done, there whenever you wonder "when did I last...?" A lot of people who find streak-based trackers stressful, including plenty of ADHD folks, seem to prefer it for that reason.
You can use it for almost anything that does not happen on a fixed schedule - filter changes, oil changes, medications, pet care, plant watering, haircuts, remembering where you stashed that thing you rarely use, whatever you tend to lose track of.
I built this app because I wanted it for myself. Using it made my everyday life easier - and more fun - so I rebuilt it to share with as many people as possible.
