You can also find music Ethiopian music from popular YouTube Channels. In addition to that, users can tune to popular Ethiopian channels for the day to day life and events related to Ethiopians. We have also introduced Ethiopian movies and dramas like Senselet and Betoch.

Astawq's service is not limited to Ethiopian diaspora residing in the United States, Canada and Europe. Users in Ethiopia’s major metropolitan cities like Addis Ababa, Dire Dawa, Bahir Dar, Jimma, Gondar, Dese, Mekelle, Hawasa, Nekemte, Adama (Debre-Zeit) and Nazreth (Bishoftu) will also find it useful due to urbanization and population explosions that is outpacing housing infrastructure projects such as condominiums and apartments.

Listing your product or service in Astawq is easy. You will have to register first with your email account and create an account by providing username and password. Once you created your account, you can post any ad using the available category. If you do not see the name of the service you are planning to provide, please reach out to us using the contact us section so we can create a category for you. You can also use “Other Services” as a category if you do not want to reach out to us. You can modify any posts you made using your own account. You can remove your ad once you felt you do not need to list your service anymore using the provided dashboard.

it used be good app now you can't even see rentals in the app. you have to search it then the ui is ugly, pictures won't display, ye habesha neger

The app is great and one of the few apps out there that provides a real service for the Ethiopian community. I like it and have been using it. I suggested different improvements in the past, and they were fixed. I expect more fixes in future versions.

Having an app to get various service within the community is a blessing However, I was Looking for room for rental in a specic zipcode for the new comer. But the search function doesn't help. It would have been great if you upgrade the search functionalities. A number of properties are listed and it is very time consuming to open and check each property to see whether their address aligns with my need. If you improve it, the search function would save all our time.
