About this app
Application DaktiloFon the first phase of the project Fon assistants supported by Telenor Foundation.
Application DaktiloFon perform continuous speech recognition (using Google SpeechRecognizer-a), speech converted into text which is saved as a text file. The document can be sent as an attachment (for e-mail, Viber, Facebook / Messenger, Skype ...), via Bluetooth, or uploaded to the cloud (OneDrive, Google Drive ...) depending on the applications installed on device.
User "dictates" the application and it is "taking notes" in a text document.
System requirements:
- Android 4.1.2 (API 16) or later.
- Internet connection (for Android 6.0 and higher and some languages this is not necessary).
- permit / permission to record audio clips.
- The license / authorization for recording and accessing files.
General requirements:
- Clear and understandable speech.
Description and features:
- the application can be controlled by voice on the home screen and the stage of dictation. Working with files is controlled via the menu.
- DaktiloFon can begin creating a new document, continue the previous, set the one of the ten previously recorded files continue or each document stored in the folder application.
- DaktiloFon recognizes the language set as the system language of the phone (when the application. Changing the language of the app is not possible). It can detect most world languages, but the syntax and interfaces are set for a group of languages (English, Serbian (currently Croatian, Montenegrin and Bosnian languages are recognized as Serbian), ... in the work of the French, Slovenian, German and Russian, later, can be add new languages).
- Documents are saved in .txt format in the folder DaktiloFon in external storage devices. If the device does not have an external warehouse or not been given permission to record, recorded in-house.
- Automatic recording is set to 5 minutes.
- Recorded documents can be sent as an attachment (for e-mail, Viber, Facebook / Messenger, Skype ...), send via Bluetooth or uploaded to the cloud (OneDrive, Google Drive ...) depending on the applications that are installed on the device.
- When documents are saved in external storage, are recorded in a folder DaktiloFon and can be accessed as well as all documents in external storage (File Manager ...).
- DaktiloFon not able to based on the dictates I recognize and writes the signs of punctuation, but it is these signs dictated (in the Basic Zone modes (1 and 2/4): point, comma, two points - colon, semi-colon, three points - trotačka, question mark, exclamation mark, quotation mark, paragraph - paragraph sensitive. In extended mode (3/5) still: through an open bracket, closed bracket, equally, dash, plus and asterisk).
- DaktiloFon I put a lot of character on the beginning of the sentence and the beginning of the paragraph. Capital letter within a sentence must be dictated.
- DaktiloFon be dictated to delete the last word, sentence and paragraph (can be removed more than once).
