The asthma application for children with asthma and their caregivers is a tool that empowers caregivers of children aged 0-6 years with asthma to self-manage and control their asthma. It also supports school-aged children with asthma (7-10 years old) who have developed cognitively to understand the causes of their illness and can learn to manage their asthma themselves. The asthma application for children with asthma and their caregivers consists of five steps: 1) Defining the problem; 2) Exploring the needs for content and activities to be developed in the asthma application; 3) Designing and developing the asthma application; 4) Evaluating the feasibility and acceptance of the asthma application; and 5) Testing the results of the asthma application.
