The full altitude curve is drawn across the night, so you can tell at a glance whether the core clears your horizon early enough to be worth the drive. No window? It tells you why: moonlight, daylight, or a latitude where the night never gets fully dark.

🧭 LIVE COMPASS BEARING
Point the camera the right way in seconds. The bearing dial fuses compass, accelerometer and gyroscope, corrects magnetic declination with the offline World Magnetic Model, and says it plainly: "Turn 34° right, tilt up 12°."

📐 STAR EXPOSURE CALCULATOR — 500 RULE + NPF RULE
Stop guessing your shutter speed. Enter focal length, aperture and sensor to get the longest exposure before stars trail, using both the classic Rule of 500 and the accurate, resolution-aware NPF Rule. Presets for Full Frame, APS-C (Nikon, Sony, Canon), Micro Four Thirds and Medium Format, or enter a custom sensor.

🔭 FRAMING & FOCUS
Field of view for any lens, so you know before setting up whether the arch will fit — and how many frames a panorama needs if it will not. Plus hyperfocal distance and depth of field, so foreground and stars are both sharp.

🔴 RED-LIGHT NIGHT MODE
The whole interface is deep red on true black. Not a dark theme — red light leaves your night-adapted vision intact, the same reason astronomers use red torches. On OLED it barely touches your battery.
