About this app

LocateONE LITE is an ATAK plug-in for operators using supported BK Technologies radios. Once connected, team members' radio location data is displayed on the ATAK application map and in a live peer table, enabling your team's common operating picture to stay current without leaving the tactical environment.

Radio Table
• Sortable, filterable table showing all known radios
• Columns: identifier, alias, location, last-seen time, device type, distance to operator, and status
• Your connected radio is always pinned to the top row
• Search and column visibility controls for focused situational awareness

Map Integration
• Live map markers created and updated as packets arrive
• Color-coded by state: normal, stale (gray), and emergency (red)
• Last known position retained on map when GPS is lost, marked stale immediately

Stale and GPS Awareness
• Radios automatically marked stale after a configurable timeout
• Radios that lose their GPS fix are flagged immediately — not after the time-to-live (TTL) expires

Emergency Alerts
• Emergency state detected from incoming packets and highlighted on map and in table
• Configurable audible, haptic, and visual alerts with cooldown to prevent repeated notifications

Per-Radio Configuration
• Set a friendly alias (custom display name) for any radio
• Customize marker color, icon type, and export preferences per radio

Settings
• Configure marker timeout and per-state marker colors
• Manage emergency alert preferences
• Dark mode, demo mode, and data management options

CSV Export
• Export radio history for reporting or follow-on analysis.

Demo Mode
• Generate simulated radio activity for training demonstrations and walkthroughs without live radio traffic.

Requires ATAK application and a supported BK Technologies radio.

What’s new

Publish radios to TAK network (gear icon → General Settings, off by default)
- Shares each connected radio's position with your TAK server and other TAK clients connected to the TAK server.

Radio Display Name (radio row → gear icon → Radio Settings)
- Uses Radio Name, if configured, otherwise uses the radio callsign
