About this app

AtChoir is choir operations software: attendance, calendar, chat, to-dos and projects, in one app for members and directors.
Everything a choir does between concerts, in one place. Members and directors both use the app on their phone, and both see the same choir.
ATTENDANCE, WITHOUT THE BOOK AT THE DOOR
Each rehearsal gets its own QR code. Display it at the door or on the screen at the front; members scan it as they arrive. The arrival time is recorded by the server, not by the phone, so a wrong clock never changes the record. Present or late is worked out automatically against the event's own late threshold — nobody has to judge it by eye. Attendance for any rehearsal can be read back afterwards, on the screen, instead of in a book at the door or a lever-arch file.
A SHARED CALENDAR
Rehearsals, services and concerts, in one calendar the whole choir can see. An event carries a title, a location, a start time and an end time.
CHAT THAT STAYS WITH THE CHOIR
The choir's conversation, kept with the choir rather than in a personal messaging group nobody controls. Talk to the whole choir, or start a smaller group for a section, a committee or a tour party. When a member leaves the choir, they leave the conversation too.
TO-DOS AND PROJECTS
Who does what, by when. Tasks are assigned to a person with a due date, so the work of running a choir stops living in one person's head. A concert, a tour or a fundraiser holds the tasks it needs done — open the project and see what's outstanding and what's done.
A DOCUMENT LIBRARY
A place for the choir's own files: minutes, programmes, sheet music, constitutions, orders of service. A director uploads and removes files; any active member can see and download them.
BUILT FOR AN ORGANISATION, NOT SOLD PERSON BY PERSON
AtChoir is licensed to the choir as a whole, not to singers one at a time. It's free to download and install — your choir's director provisions your account, and you sign in. There's nothing to buy inside the app.
WHAT IT DOESN'T ASK FOR
No date of birth. No age. No flag marking anyone as a child. AtChoir is built to the standard a child deserves, for everyone, so it never needs to ask. What it holds is a display name, an email address, an optional voice part, a role, and the choir's own attendance and task records — nothing more.
