About this app

Risk based inspection software for Ex rated (ATEX) equipment. Single device usage or sync multiple Android 12+/Windows 10+ devices to Azure database backend. Compatible with Hellerman Tyton RFID ISO 15693 tags. Based on Energy Institute guidelines for managing inspection of Ex electrical equipment ignition risk in support of IEC 60079-17. Application includes an optional tutorial and sample data (in Evaluation Mode). Application can be run on a single device with no backend required. Use App Reset to switch between the above modes.

Note: To use ExInspector (ATEX) with multiple synchronized client devices (Windows/Android) a Microsoft account (Outlook/Hotmail) is required. ExInspector (ATEX) can scaffold the required synchronization backend and SQL Server database from the login page. Microsoft Azure offers a free trial then the subscription will typically cost €20/month. Client application synchronization requires a monthly subscription at €5.99/month. Subscriptions are managed by the Windows version of ExInspector (ATEX) and allow for up to 10 copies of ExInspector (ATEX) to be installed (must be using the same Outlook/Hotmail account) and an unlimited amount of Android installations. These limitations are enforced by Microsoft/Google respectively.

No subscriptions (Azure/Client application synchronization) are required to use ExInspector (ATEX) in 'Evaluation' or 'Single Device with Login' modes.
