The BlackBerry AtHoc mobile app brings the industry’s leading crisis communication capabilities to the palm of your hands.

During an event, users can receive critical alerts, and easily share pictures and videos from the field back to their operations centre to enhance situational awareness across the organisation. Users can also send one-click duress signals or even share their real-time GPS location to promote enhanced awareness of their location for added security and protection.

In addition, system operators are able to send alerts and manage their system while on-the-go, helping to get the word out and ensure safety for their people.

• The BlackBerry AtHoc mobile app uses GPS services when location tracker feature is ON. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

I wanted to register the app on my new phone and it kept telling me to register although I verified my email address. To resolve the issue, I uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it. Presto, I input the o.r.g. and it worked as anticipated. I recommend anyone having issues registering, try uninstalling and then reinstalling. I'd like to try and have it than not... you know in case we need it😉

Registered and verfied my email. I still can't use the app. Everytime I open it, it asks me to register, it doesn't even recoginze the email I put many time as registered, it keep sending verification emails to it. Very bad first impression, and I don't think I will be using it.

I was told to download this app so I can stay up to date on changes or alerts and I was given a slideshow that showed how to set the app up, I input my email and verified it but the app wouldnt do anything other than say i needed to verify my email. Useless app
