About this app

NoteQuest is a focused practice app for violinists who want to master
reading sheet music. Whether you are just starting out or brushing up
on higher positions, NoteQuest helps you recognise notes on the staff
instantly, without guessing.

DESIGNED FOR VIOLIN
The full violin range is covered, from open G string all the way up to
C6 in third position. Notes are shown on a real treble clef staff,
exactly as you would see them in your sheet music.

HOW IT WORKS
A note appears on the staff. You tap the correct note name. That is it.
Simple, fast, and effective, just like a good practice routine.
You get immediate feedback on every answer, hear the correct pitch with
every note, and your score streak resets on a wrong answer to keep you
focused. Your personal best is saved per level.

THREE LEVELS OF DIFFICULTY
Level I covers the G and D string in first position. Start with the
basics and master the lower strings before moving on.
Level II expands across all four strings in first position. Build
fluency across the full first position range.
Level III adds higher positions on the E string, up to C6. Challenge
yourself with notes beyond the standard first position.

TWO NOTATION SYSTEMS
Switch between Do Re Mi (solfege) and A B C (letter names) to match
how your teacher or method book works. Your preference is saved
automatically.

PRACTICE YOUR WAY
Mute the audio at any time with the sound button. Replay any note
whenever you need a reminder of how it sounds.

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
Your high score is saved separately for each level. Try to beat your
personal best every session.
