Turn your Android phone into a Wi-Fi remote control for compatible Android TV and Google TV devices. TV Remote by Atomic Labs brings navigation, playback controls, text entry, and favorite app shortcuts together in a clean purple-and-gold interface.

Whether your physical remote is across the room or hiding between the cushions, keep everyday TV controls close at hand.

NAVIGATE YOUR WAY

Choose familiar directional buttons or swipe-and-tap touchpad navigation. Browse menus, select shows, go back, and return to your TV’s home screen from your phone.

TYPE WITH YOUR PHONE

Use your phone’s keyboard to enter text in supported TV search boxes and input fields. You can also dictate text using your phone’s speech service, review it, and send it to the TV.

EVERYDAY REMOTE CONTROLS

Access playback, volume, mute, and power controls on supported devices. Available functions depend on your TV, connected equipment, and the app you’re using.

KEEP FAVORITE APPS CLOSE

Browse a curated TV app catalog, pin your favorites, and arrange shortcuts to suit your routine. Try opening supported apps directly or find them in your TV’s app store. App launching varies by device and app.

CAN’T DECIDE WHAT TO OPEN?

App Roulette picks from your pinned apps. Spin the wheel, see the result, and choose whether to open it—or spin again.

SAVE AND PERSONALIZE YOUR TVS

Pair compatible TVs, give them recognizable nicknames, and select the one you want to control. Adjust haptic feedback and button animations to make the remote feel right for you.

CONNECT OVER WI-FI

1. Connect your Android phone and TV to the same Wi-Fi network.
2. Turn on your TV and tap “Connect your TV.”
3. Select your device and enter the pairing code displayed on your TV.

You can also add a TV manually using its IP address. No developer mode or ADB setup is required.

FREE CONTROLS, OPTIONAL AD-FREE UPGRADE

All remote controls remain available without a purchase. The free version displays a bottom banner, with an Atomic Labs app-discovery banner when an advertisement is unavailable.

An optional one-time purchase removes both banners. No subscription is required.

COMPATIBILITY

Install TV Remote on your Android phone. It is designed for compatible Google TV and Android TV televisions and streaming devices that support Android TV Remote Service.

This is a Wi-Fi remote, not an infrared remote. It does not support Roku, Fire TV, or televisions running other operating systems. Power-on behavior, volume, text entry, and app shortcuts vary by device. A fully powered-off TV may not be reachable over Wi-Fi.

PRIVACY

TV commands travel directly over your local network. Paired TV information and preferences are stored on your phone. No app account is required. Advertising, purchases, and voice dictation use their respective service providers.
