IP and copyright: Powershop owns or has permission to use all copyright in Powershop’s mobile app and all its contents, including but not limited to text, graphics, graphic images, logos, button icons, images, photographs, video and audio clips, software, concepts, systems and compilations (meaning the collection, arrangement and assembly of material).
Some of the material included in Powershop’s mobile app and in which intellectual property rights exist, including POWERSHOP and/or other brands and/or trade marks (whether registered or otherwise), is the sole and exclusive property of Powershop or its related companies or its’ suppliers. Security: Powershop’s mobile app requires you to use your account password. You are responsible for keeping that password safe and secure to prevent any unauthorised use of, and access to, your account and the electricity supply to the properties covered by Powershop’s mobile app.


Changes to mobile app terms and conditions: By clicking “Install” you agree that Powershop can change the terms and conditions that apply to the Powershop mobile app by Powershop giving 30 days written notice by email and by placing a banner on our website.

== Explanation of permissions required for the Powershop App ==
* Storage - modify or delete the contents of your USB storage: Cache certain images to load them faster for you.
* Camera - take pictures and videos: Required for you to turn the flashlight on and off while inputting meter readings on devices with a camera flash.
* Your social information - read your contacts: You can use your contacts to refer to Powershop through the Friend get friend promotion. The App will only ever access your contacts if you choose to use them for the Friend get friend promotion.

Ratings and reviews

while cute, I don't want to have to scroll digital dials when entering my meter reading. Please add an option to just type in the digits from a number pad keyboard. It takes me longer to scroll the last 2 wheels a couple of digits, than the reading is on my smart meter screen and then I have to stand there cycling my meter to get back to the reading to make sure I've got it correct.

The app is good and more responsive than others I've experienced which usually have a lag of 2 to 3 days, but Powershop is right there with yesterday's data available. Improvements could be made if monthly and year / year to date data was available. My biggest disappointment is that the dashboard only shows what you've imported (kw/h and $) but does not factor in the solar credits to give you a running balance.

The monthly insight is pretty useless when you show actual cost (incorporating credits into the account). Some months show as zero. You should have the option to show what the actual bill was before any credits were applied AND you should have the option to show the actual usage in kWh not just $. I really want to compare average per day from one year to the next. This app has a lot of potential, but you really aren't maximising it.
