Audex is a local-first audio player and audiobook reader for the music, voice notes, and books you already have - plus the media servers you already run. No ads, no analytics, no subscription.

Browse local music and recordings by folder, album, or artist. Import a folder from Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, WebDAV, or an SMB share on your home network, and Audex keeps it organized and searchable, with real resume-where-you-left-off across every track.

📖 BOOKS, READ ALOUD
Import a PDF or EPUB and Audex reads it to you with a real chapter-aware player - live text highlighting included. Reading uses a free, fully offline voice by default. If you want a more natural voice, you can optionally connect your own Google Cloud Text-to-Speech key - your usage, your billing, never shared with anyone else.

📡 STREAM YOUR OWN MEDIA SERVERS
Already run Subsonic, Navidrome, Jellyfin, Emby, Audiobookshelf, Plex, or Kodi? Connect it directly - browse albums, artists, playlists, shows, and movies, and stream or download for offline listening. Your server, your account, your data - Audex is just the player.
