About this app

Audex is an audio editing toolkit for Android. Import audio from your device, review its waveform, adjust the available controls and export a new file. The original file remains unchanged while you work.

Edit and arrange audio:

- Trim a selected section and preview it before export
- Add fade-in or fade-out to a trimmed section
- Split an audio file into sections
- Merge tracks in a chosen order with optional overlap
- Insert audio into another track
- Mix multiple tracks and adjust their levels

Adjust sound:

- Change playback speed or pitch
- Reverse audio and adjust volume
- Use equalizer, reverb, normalization and noise reduction controls
- Remove silence and convert mono audio to stereo
- Apply the included voice and vocal effect presets
- Combine several adjustments in Studio and export them in one processing pass

Record and convert:

- Record in M4A or 3GP with selectable recording quality
- Convert audio to MP3, M4A, AAC, OGG, Opus, FLAC or WAV
- Convert several audio files with the batch conversion tool
- Compress audio to M4A at a selected bitrate
- Extract an AAC or WAV audio track from a video that contains sound
- Trim a video, optionally mute its original audio, and export an MP4 copy

Other included tools:

- Create speech audio with Android text-to-speech voices installed on the device
- Reduce or isolate vocals using the available standard and AI processing modes
- Browse, preview, rename, share and delete supported media files from the in-app library

Some tools and higher recording settings require Audex Pro. The free version can display ads and may offer rewarded access to selected premium tools. Available formats and processing results can depend on the source file and device capabilities.
