It has now got better & I've decided to subscribe. But there r still few drawbacks 1. the alternate voice speakers is jenius idea cause it often confused me if the narrator was narrating or speaking. But sadly it can't detect weather the speaker is female or male. It gets confusing when female spoke using male voice & vise versa 2. I wish the alternate speaker only read the lines in Quote marks instead the whole paragraph 3. often I find it difficult to change the list of speakers, it got freeze

If you use your device's native engine, you lose all external control over the app. Earbuds, speakers etc will not pause or move the text along. Use the AI voice options and gain that control, and slightly better speech, but at the cost of massive resource consumption(full battery drain in less than six hours) and the semi-frequent dropping of the first syllable of a word, mostly at the start of a sentence or if the word is unusual, like a non-english name.

Update 2. The app content density is off. It's just too big. On high res 6.8 inches phone I can only see 3 books at a time and on each book, I can only see 2 or three words. So in order to even tell the books apart, I need to open them first. Everything is so unnecessarily big even at the smallest font. Also the app doesn't remember my sorting preferences and always default to "by date". And the new TTS voices (Halo) tend to cut off the first words of some words, or the beginning of sentences.
