About this app

AudioFie is a music service and a full audio player: a catalogue of
tracks, music videos and your own files from the phone, in one app.

Player

- Background playback: the music keeps going when the screen goes dark
or you switch to another app.
- Controls in the notification shade and on the lock screen — pause,
next and previous track, seek, artwork and title.
- Wired and Bluetooth headset buttons work.
- Playback queue: your own order, shuffle and repeat.
- Your own files: tracks stored on the phone play here too, and
nothing is uploaded anywhere.

Catalogue

- Thousands of tracks, searchable by title, artist and genre.
- Artist pages: releases, top tracks, videos and similar artists.
- Albums and selections by mood and genre.
- Playlists, your own and editorial, in any order.
- Music videos and charts, playable in the app.
- Lyrics next to the track, line by line where we have them.

Offline

The app opens with no connection at all — its own screen, not a browser
error page. Tracks you added from the phone play in full: they sit on
the device and never leave it. Covers and lists you have already opened
stay readable. Streaming from the catalogue does need a connection.

Small things you notice

- Links to audiofie.com open straight in the app.
- Dark theme: nothing flashes white at night.

Account

The catalogue plays without registration. An account is only needed to
save favourites, build playlists and take part in discussions.
