About this app

Word to Text — dictation and notes for thoughts you want to save. Speak a short phrase, check the recognized text, and turn it into a useful note. A project idea, a daily plan, a conversation summary, or a to-do list—start with a few words and add to the note at your own pace.

VOICE TO TEXT IN RUSSIAN
Select system recognition and start dictation with one button. The newly recognized phrase is added to the existing text: you can continue dictating while preserving the beginning of the note. The intermediate result is displayed separately and does not replace your text. You can stop dictation; when you exit the app, the recognition session is canceled.

AN EDITOR WHERE EVERYTHING IS AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
Correct words, complete phrases, and break text into paragraphs. Automatic recognition sometimes makes mistakes, so the editor always remains accessible. Check names, numbers, and important wording before saving or sending. You can start a note manually and then continue using your voice—or skip the microphone entirely.

DRAFT IS NOT LOST DURING TRANSITIONS
Current text is saved automatically on your device. Switch between history, modes, and settings, then return to your draft. It is restored even after a simple app restart. When you create a new note or open another entry, the non-empty previous draft is saved in the history.

HISTORY AND SEARCH
Save completed notes and find the one you need by words or date. Open a note from history, continue editing, and save the new version. History helps you return to ideas, plans, and short work notes. Tapping "Save" again for an unchanged last entry doesn't create an extra copy.

COPY, SEND, AND TXT
Copy text to the clipboard to paste it into another app. Send the note using the standard Android menu. Export it to a regular TXT file: this file is easy to open on your phone or computer. You choose the save location in the device's system window. For important notes, save separate copies in a convenient location.

INTUITIVE PROCESSING SELECTION
In manual mode, the app doesn't use the microphone. Dictation requires permission, which is requested when you launch this feature. Before first use, you'll see an explanation: your voice is processed by Android's system recognition service, and the app saves the resulting text. The app doesn't save audio files to its history.

COMFORTABLE SCREEN
Choose a light, dark, or automatic theme. Automatic mode takes device time into account. Three text sizes make the editor easier to read. Subtle colors, large primary buttons, and neat indents help you focus on your writing.

KEY FEATURES ARE FREE
Dictation, manual input, editing, history, search, and export are available without a subscription. The app contains ads. Voluntary viewing of rewarded ads disables ads for 24 hours. Availability depends on the network and advertising service.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Dictation requires a compatible Android speech recognition service with Russian language support. It can use the internet; offline recognition availability depends on the device and service provider. The app is designed for short voice phrases and text notes: it does not promise continuous recording of meetings, import of audio files, or error-free transcription. Manual input works without a speech recognition service.
