AudioThru is a reading assistant that helps you listen to text from books, documents, and images when looking at a screen is inconvenient or when you want a more flexible reading experience.
CAPTURE AND LISTEN
Capture a page with your camera or choose an existing image. AudioThru recognizes the text on your device and reads it aloud using voices installed on your phone.
READ AT YOUR OWN PACE
Adjust the reading speed and use playback controls to pause, continue, or move through the content.
SAVE AND CONTINUE LATER
Keep recognized text, bookmarks, and reading history on your device so you can easily return to what you were reading.
VOICE CONTROL
On supported devices and languages, voice commands can be used to control reading.
PRIVATE AND ACCOUNT-FREE
AudioThru 1.0 does not require an account. Scanned images, recognized text, reading history, and voice data are not sent to AudioThru servers.
The app uses aggregate analytics to improve stability and product experience. Analytics do not include scanned images, recognized text, reading content, website addresses, audio recordings, or voice-command transcripts.
Some features depend on capabilities supported by the device and operating system. The built-in browser requires an Internet connection to load online content.
