You can read Chinese, but real speech goes straight past you? Listening is the weakest skill for most Chinese learners, and there is only one way to build it: listen a lot, every day.

Audirovanie trains your Chinese listening. Podcasts, audiobooks and videos in Chinese come with a synced transcript where every word is tappable: tap it to see pinyin and translation without stopping playback.

• "Audio detective with Uma" — a six-scene case: Uma runs the investigation, witness statements are in Chinese, and you name the culprit from what you heard

• Scored syllable by syllable: which tone you produced and which one was needed
• Tone sandhi is taken into account — the way tones shift in connected speech
