Put your phone on the table and press start. What the other person says in English becomes Chinese you can read, and what you say in Chinese, Diting says back in English.
Diting is a live bilingual caption tool built for Chinese speakers living overseas. Inspections, loan meetings, GP appointments, parent-teacher nights — when your listening can't keep up, Diting listens for you, speaks for you, and keeps a record of what was said.
■ Live captions, both directions
English in, Chinese out. Chinese in, English out. Direction is detected automatically. Chinese is set large with the original text beside it. Split-screen mode turns the top half towards the other person so two people can share one screen.
■ You speak Chinese, it speaks English
Every translated line has a speaker icon. Tap it and a natural voice reads the English aloud. Or just start your sentence with "帮我跟他说…" and Diting translates only the part meant for them and speaks it straight away. Four voices to choose from in Settings.
■ Every talk is kept
When you stop, Diting writes a summary: key points, decisions, follow-ups. Summaries are editable, in Chinese or English, and the English one can be sent to the other person to confirm. The full bilingual transcript stays available.
■ Adjustable text size
Four caption sizes, readable from across a table or for older eyes.
■ Text only, no audio kept
Speech is turned into text and discarded immediately. No audio is stored on our servers. Records are encrypted, kept per account, never used for advertising or model training. Delete a single record, or your account and all data, from inside the app.
■ Invite a friend, both get an hour
Share Diting. When a friend enters your invite code, you each get 60 extra minutes, and they never expire.
■ Free to start
10 minutes free every month, no sign-in needed. Diting Pro unlocks 40 hours a month with up to 2 hours per session, billed monthly or yearly.
