Aura shows you exactly what is using your storage, and lets you delete what you
choose. Nothing is deleted without your confirmation, and every number it reports
is measured on your device.
WHAT AURA DOES
Storage breakdown
See how many bytes each category uses—photos, video, audio, documents, app data —
and how that has changed over the days you have used the app.
Find large and duplicate files
Lists your largest files, byte-identical duplicates, and visually similar photos such
as burst shots. Every result shows a thumbnail and its exact size, so you can see what
You are about to delete it before you delete it.
Apps you no longer open
Ranks installed apps by how long since you last opened them and how much space they
hold, so you can decide which to uninstall. Uninstalling is done by Android's own
dialogue.
Cache clearing
Clears the cache directories Android allows an app to clear, and reports the exact
number of bytes removed — including when that number is zero.
Send files to your computer
Open one address in your desktop browser, enter the PIN shown on your phone, and
Browse, download, or upload files. The transfer runs over your own Wi-Fi network.
Private vault
Move files into an encrypted vault whose key is held in your device's hardware
keystore.
Device information
Shows battery level, temperature, charging state, screen, sensor and connectivity
information reported by Android.
Anti-theft alarms
Sounds an alarm if the charger is unplugged or the device is moved while armed.
WHAT AURA DOES NOT DO
Aura does not make your phone faster, does not "optimize" it, and does not free RAM.
No app can do those things, so Aura does not claim them. It measures; it shows you the
result, and it deletes only the files you select.
Storage forecast
Aura records one reading of your storage a day and fits a trend through it. Instead of
"you are 82% full", it tells you roughly when you will run out of space at your current
rate, and which category is growing fastest. The forecast needs a few days of readings
before it appears.
