The aim of the project is to support parents, increase their skills and increase electronic resources to ensure the development of children with disabilities - especially children with autism.
The project includes the development of video lessons with the participation of child psychologists, speech therapists, special educators and therapeutic sports teachers to support rehabilitation at home for parents of children with disabilities, especially children with autism. The lesson was designed to create a mobile application.
Given the increase in the number of Internet users in the country, as well as the expansion of the use of the website and mobile application, and the trend of online learning, it was decided to deliver video lessons to parents through the website and mobile application. The project is a novelty in the country and is the first in terms of supporting parents of special children, and will also stimulate the introduction of innovations in this area in the future.
Through the application and the video lessons posted on the website, parents will be able to watch video lessons designed to increase their children's ability to develop independently, as well as parents will be able to remember video lessons on schedule, identify videos they watch and plan. The application will also serve as a resource center for parents on child development. The application also includes educational materials.
Development of application specifications, application and website design, application site programming, application programming, application technical support, involvement of consultants for application development, preparation of instructions for use of the application, preparation of video lessons for individual lessons of children, introduction of application Preparation of materials for and organization of the presentation of the application was carried out.
The project plans to carry out a mission to support the development of children with disabilities, to increase the skills of parents in this area. Video lessons target individual sessions of parents with children with a mild diagnosis or at home to support professional rehabilitation.
At the initial stage of the project, 200 video lessons on 7 areas of development of children with disabilities were developed and uploaded to the mobile application and website. The topics and content of the video lessons were developed by a project team that included a child development specialist, a psychologist, a speech therapist, a sports teacher and a teacher. Curriculum and resources of Turkish, Russian and Western experts were used in preparing the content of the video lessons.
