The app is rickety at best, the call center is always preoccupied, and the impatient drivers give you all of 30 seconds to get to them before driving off. I have an issue practically every time I try to book with them, and subsequently only use them as a last resort. I can appreciate that a small local business may not be as polished and efficient as a large-scale one like Uber, but Village performs nowhere near what you'd expect of a modern taxi company.
