Did not work as described for my Chevy Traverse. Had options in the instructional video that it did not have in the software. Software takes forever to work and feels like it might be data mining. I don't know, but I'm not sure why it should take 5 minutes to scan for a VIN number. Couldn't get it to work and returned.

The app works, and does what it's supposed to do. But it is FAR from intuitive. It's clearly been developed by someone whose first language is not English, and whose forte is not UI/UX. It's difficult to figure out what to do, but if you look at Clare Spurr's review from 2025, she has steps that detail how to go about programming keys. So 5/5 for functionality (worked on two new keys, first time for each) but 2/5 for app design.

as others have mentioned the instructions are horrible. none of the QR supplied codes take you to the app. you have to search auto key Max to finally get to the app. once in the app the instructions are no better. it fails to mention that you have to insert the new key and turn the vehicle to on before you can program it. This was on a 2010 Jeep. It did work and I was able to program it so that's the reason for a few extra Stars.
