Aishchin was an ancient orator, one of the top ten Attic rhetoric. The oracle of Aishchin (389 BC-314 BC) was the son of Atromitos and Glakootheas. His father was originally called Terry. But he changed his name to Atromitos. He was a slave to the school of the schoolteacher of Helpa, who was in Thiseio. Atromitos was sent to exile by the Thirty-One Tyrants. He went to Corinth. Then he was found in Asia as a mercenary. Turning to Athens, he fought at Thracibullus' side against the Thirty Thorons, in 404 BC. with the aim of restoring democracy.
