SimpleRemote Remote Support lets trusted support teams connect to Android devices to help users solve issues faster.
Use the app with the SimpleRemote desktop application to view the Android screen, perform approved remote actions, and transfer files when needed for support.
Key features:
- Remote Android screen sharing
- Remote actions such as Back, Home and Recent apps
- Secure device pairing with a unique device ID
- File transfer for support workflows
- Background availability for managed support scenarios
- Multilingual interface
SimpleRemote is designed for professional remote assistance. The user remains in control and must grant the required Android permissions before screen sharing, remote control or file access can be used.
Use of the Android AccessibilityService API
SimpleRemote uses the Android AccessibilityService API only when the device owner enables remote control. During an approved remote support session, it allows the remote operator to perform taps, long presses, swipes, scrolling, text input, and Android navigation actions such as Back, Home and Recent apps.
For remote text input, the service interacts locally with the currently focused input field only to apply the text requested by the remote operator. AccessibilityService is not used for analytics, advertising or autonomous actions.
SimpleRemote does not use AccessibilityService to change device settings without permission, bypass Android security or privacy controls, or record calls. The user can disable the service at any time from Android Accessibility settings.
