About this app

The mobile application "August Checker" is designed to check the authenticity of plant protection products manufactured by the company "August" for agricultural producers. Consumer packages with such products are marked with a DataMatrix code, which must be scanned with the camera of the mobile device.
The program displays the check result in the form of a traffic light: green - the authenticity of the package is confirmed, yellow - the marking corresponds to the products of "August", but there is a risk of counterfeiting, red - authenticity has not been established.
Using the application, you cannot check the authenticity of transport packages (boxes, pallets) and products of other manufacturers.
Products of "August" for summer residents and gardeners do not yet have individual serial marking of consumer packages, ensuring authenticity verification. The QR code on its label contains only a link to the product page in the product catalog on the official website of the company. After scanning such a code, the application will display a description of the product and a link to go to the site.
